I have decided to start a new thread, mainly to keep track of my record.

First picks:

Barcelona -1.5 @ 1.820 vs Athletic Club Bilbao = 1 unit
Predicted score = 2-0 for Barca

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid (+0.5 and +1) @ 1.980 = 2 units

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid @ 5.160 = 1 unit

I'm really feeling everyone is on Real Madrid. Don't get me wrong, they are a fantastic team but Atletico Madrid had a solid game last weekend vs Barca.
Atletico has had a horrible run as of lately, and hopefully last weekend was proof of them changing for good again.
Real Madrid will attack hard considering they have to catch up to Barcelona, hence that might leave some weak spots on defense.

Predicted score = 3-2 for Atletico (lmao, at least what i'm hoping for)

Tough weekend games. The exact opposite happened. I lost that bet with Napoli (Napoli played terrible) and Palermo beat Fiorentina.

+ 1 unit and -1 unit

As of today March 9th, 2009 record = +3 units (3 win - 2 loss - 0 push)

Bets for UEFA:

Liverpool vs Real Madrid (0 and +0.5) @ 1.917 = 2 units

Liverpool vs Real Madrid @ 3.490 = 1 unit

Juventus vs Chelsea (+0) @ 2.070 = 1 unit

I also have a small lean on Bayern winning tomorrow too, but i'll probably wait and give it some time before i officially place it

Bayern München (-0.5) vs Sporting Lisbon @ 1.806 = 1 unit

Bayern Munich will be playing with some subs, but even the subs are too good for a Sporting Lisbon team that knows wont be able to overcome a 5-0 lead. Looking at Lisbon, they will have to go full attack if they want a win. This will leave the defense wide open for Bayern to score.

Predicted score = 2-1 or 1-0 for Bayern



Regarding other match ups:

Real Madrid vs Liverpool =

Real Madrid has a solid team that will def give it a good battle. I don't see Juventus winning this one. In the worst of cases i see a tie hence why i also took Real Madrid +0.5. That said, this is going to be a great game

Predicted score= Real Madrid win 2-0


Chelsea vs Juventus =

Chelsea has been doing very good lately plus i can't see Juventus offering anything different from the last game they played. This will definitely end in a tie or a small win by Chelsea.

Predicted score 1-0 win Chelsea

Real madrid played as bad as i have ever seen them. I still think they had some help from the ref, but i can't justify a 4-0 loss. :think2:


I was positive Bayern wasn't going to lose, but i wasn't expecting such a large win. So that goes through i guess.

And regarding Chelsea, i didn't watch the game, but the events were wack, especially Juve scoring after getting a red card. Thank god Chelsea scored back and i could call that a push

Tomorrows picks:

Porto vs Atletico Madrid (0 and +0.5) for Game @ 2.050 = 3 units

Porto vs Atletico Madrid for Game @ 3.640 = 1 unit

I just can't see Porto winning if Atletico plays the same way they played Real Madrid and Barcelona these past 2 weekends. They have had a bad streak but i think they are back into the game. Aguero and Forlan should put a great show (its the best duo in the Spanish league and one of the better ones in Europe). I don't see anything from Porto. Atletico will provide some solid attack, i'm confident that if Aguero doesn't miss as many as he had in previous games, game is definitely a win for Atletico

Manchester United vs Inter Milan for Game @ 1.781 = 1 unit

Manchester with full squad. Inter playing with a defense composed of many subs (Chivu, Burdisso and Materazzi aren't playing). This can be Ronaldos and Berbatovs chance to shine (they were benched last weekend).
Plus they are playing at Old Trafford.

It will be hard (im between this and a tie, but i think Man U can pull it off)

Predicted score = 1-0 for Man U




I definitely won't be betting on the Barca vs Lyon game. Lyon proved to be a good team last game. They can attack and give Barca a good battle.
I'm pretty sure Barca will KILL Lyon, but the value just isn't there. I'd be risking too much money to make such little profit. Lyon might be the surprise and beat Barca.

Arsenal vs Roma = another game i won't be betting on, though i have a lean on Arsenal. I feel like the team is getting tighter, and quite sincerely, i never liked Roma.


I also have a small lean on the OVER 10 GOALS.

If done properly, that barca game might have 3-6 goals by itself. Atletico Madrid vs Porto should be a high scoring game too. Those two games together should rack at least 6-7 goals. That said, you can't rely on watching many goals from either Man U vs Inter or Arsenal vs Roma

By the way, may i suggest to bet on individual games?
I used to think like you and do parlays (i've seen you mentioned some parlays before). So try stick to individual games.
Think about how much cash you could have made if you won 7 out of 8 games vs losing the parlay cause of 1 game.
Its true, when you see how much cash you can make with a parlay, its very enticing, but you gotta be able to have some management and control yourself. In the long run individual plays work better (unless you do smaller parlays like frankinho does)

Bro i'm a rookie like you are.
I just started almost 2 months ago. And yeah, i still get tempted to do those parlays. But once again, its all about money management. If you do those bets individually, eventually your pot increases. Eventually (and by eventually, i mean a couple weeks if you do good) you'll be placing 25-50 dollar bets (which when i think about it, sounds UNREAL).
And btw, when i do parlays, i do round robins. They do cost more, but they guarantee me something if some of the teams win.
